The New England Chapter of the Society of Architectural Historians is a coalition of people interested in the history and preservation of New England’s built environment.

WHO WE ARE

NE/SAH is the New England chapter of the Society of Architectural Historians. We welcome anyone interested in the history of architecture and the built environment in New England. Current members includes architectural historians, architects, planners, builders, preservationists, students and many others who share an interest in the built environment.

WHAT WE DO

NE/SAH concerns itself with all periods and styles; our goal is a deeper understanding and appreciation of our architectural heritage. NE/SAH programs and tours encompass building interiors, exteriors, and the designed landscape or urban fabric in which they exist. Lectures given by renowned historians and practicing professionals explore regional, national and international subjects.
